DiaCoating GmbH
DiaCoating GmbH was founded in May 2013 as spin-off of this EU-project VascuBone with the aim to develop and commercialize the diamond technology for new innovative human therapeutics. The founders of DIA transferred the technology, patents and their know-how in the field of diamond technology into the company. DiaCoating utilizes nano-crystalline diamond coatings (NCD) as proprietary platform for development of innovative products e.g. dental, percutaneous implants or bone implants and biosensors. The technology allows tailoring biological surfaces for required properties like increased active surface area, improved biocompatibility, wettability, corrosion resistance or high sensitivity for electronic applications.
